Limited Edition Fine Art Prints
These limited edition prints are printed with a Canon Pro-6000 on 24”x36” Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 188 paper. This lightweight, museum-quality, acid free paper provides superior sharpness during the printing process. Should you chose to take it up a notch and have your fine art print framed, it will be mounted on a warp resistant, low acid Gatorfoam board and framed with a 7/8” black wooden frame. The print is finished using UV Conservation Clear Acrylic which blocks up to 99% of UV rays and is shatter resistant. Before being sent to you, each print is paired with a Certificate of Authenticity, which is signed by the artist and head of production and ensures this print has been personally inspected and approved.
Laurens Jansen is a Belgium based artist who specializes in colored pencil portraits of hip-hop legends like Biggie Smalls, Rakim, Wu-Tang Clan, and many more. After a three year run as a professional basketball player for Gembo BBC, Belgium, he retired and began to focus sincerely on his art.
His art has received significant acclaim on social media platforms and in several cases has been re-posted by the subjects of the portraits themselves (Snoop Dogg, Cardi B, DMX and Funkmaster Flex to name a few).
During a recent trip to New York, Laurens' work was prominently featured at the 30th anniversary celebration of Yo MTV Raps in Brooklyn. His display wall featured many legends who performed on stage at the celebration and was incredibly well received by hip-hop fans and artists both young and old.
